There are some home rules present in this game (including flanking, bandoleer item for quick access and some homebrew classes/races available)
Unearthed Arcana and further homebrews may only be added with The GM's express consent. Any additions suggested will be subject to review and if found suitable everyone will have access to them.
You will not have to own any of the books to play, I own most of them and can enable compendium sharing to make things easier.
The style of this game will be a heavy roleplay focus with quite a bit of exploration. For this reason combats will be tough as they aren't as common, generally being limited to story fights, encounters during travel and dungeon encounters where applicable.
While this campaign has an overarching story it has no set ending, it's a bit more sandbox style with players determining how the story will end. You can join the villains if you want, though this story option will require the consent of the whole party.
While I do accept new players, those unfamiliar with the systems must come in with a mindset to learn, adopt, adapt and improve.
Any players being disruptive to the session such as rules lawyering (sometimes the rule of cool takes over), arguing un-necessarily with the GM and/or other players, or cheating will be removed from the session without refund.
